About a half hour ago, we received our Occupancy Permit from the City of Moorhead Building Codes office without any conditions attached.  Our first event will be a baby shower for Jay and Ashlee Cournia on Saturday afternoon.  Jay is the project manager for Comstock Construction.  My personal objective was to have it finished for our Fall Festival.  When Jay asked about renting it for the baby shower on Sept. 28, I told him if he met the deadline for the occupancy permit by then, he could have it “rent free”!  I wanted him to also have an incentive for completion for the fall festival.  WE MADE IT!  Welcome back everyone!
