St. Joe’s Cemetery is located on the east side of 11th Street on the north side of the Crystal Sugar plant. The cemetery is for the use of the parishioners of St. Francis de Sales, St. Joseph, St. Elizabeth, Dilworth, and St. Cecelia in Sabin. There are two parts to our cemetery; the original cemetery that only has about six single burial plots remaining and the new expansion about 300 feet further east. Governance is accomplished by a board of directors, which is made up of the pastors and lay representatives from each parish.
 
If cremation is in your burial plans, St. Joseph’s Cemetery has a columbarium, which is a beautiful structure that holds cremains. The columbarium is located in the cemetery near the south entrance. It has single and double niches. A single niche sells for $1,250 and a double niche sells for $1,525. These prices include the plaque for the niche. Burial plots in the original cemetery are $600 each while they are still available. Plots in the new cemetery on the east side are $500 each or $250 for infant plots.
